Fees/Payment/Collection/Shipping

Purchase price & Buyers Commission:

The purchase price consists of the highest bid plus the premium, the sales tax and, if applicable, the resale rights tax. The premium is 28% for differential taxation. Sales tax of 20% is included in the differential taxation. In the case of normal taxation (in the printed catalog and on the internet marked with ° at the estimate), a premium of 24% is added to the highest bid. Statutory sales tax of 13% is added to the sum of the highest bid and the premium.

Resale Rights (Droit de Suite):

Objects marked with an asterisk ( * ) are subject to resale rights. Resale rights will be charged as a surcharge on the highest bid. This fee only applies if the highest bid is over € 2,499.99 and is staggered: 4% will be charged for the first € 50,000. Thereafter, each further € 150,000 3% or 1% and from € 500,000 0.25%. The maximum resale right fee is € 12,500.

Payment:

You are requested to pay the purchase price (highest bid plus fees, taxes and duties) of your auctioned objects within seven days of receipt of the invoice. You can pay on site in cash or with an debit card and credit card. For amounts of €10,000 or more, identification is legally required. When paying by credit card (only Mastercard and VISA) we need to charge an additional 2%. In exceptional cases, you can also pay by Paypal, in which case an additional fee of 4% applies. In exporting to countries outside the EU, no sales tax accrues. In this case, the export can only be carried out by a forwarding agent.

Collection and shipping:

You can pick up your auctioned items from the second weekday after the auction at Johannesgasse 9-13, 1010 Vienna, provided the purchase price has already been paid in full. Insurance:

Works of art are insured against loss and damage up to the end of the collection period (14 days) in the amount of the highest bid. After that, the art object will be insured to a maximum of up to 6 months after invoicing if there is no default in payment. For further information, see our terms and conditions.
